Marcus van Tonder (b.2000) is a South African photographic artist primarily working within the photo-essay genre. He immerses himself in a still life-based practice, which unfolds through pseudo-documentary and constructed photography.
Most artworks are available as limited-edition prints. Each is proofed, hand numbered, titled, and signed on the verso. A certificate of authenticity accompanies every print. Prints are made with archival pigment ink on alpha cellulose paper. Framing in Kiaat hardwood is recommended and available upon request.
